For the Record’s “Fighting Back” premiered Wednesday, March 2nd on TheBlaze TV and it basically took a long, in-depth look at how you should respond if you are caught in an active shooter situation.
Our stance on the matter is that if you never encounter an active shooter situation–Great! But when you physically and mentally train for the possibility for one to occur, you’ll be way more prepared when it does.
Aaron Jannetti is the co-owner of Endeavor and he believes you don’t need to be a “black belt” or “big and strong” to fight back when confronted with a life or death crisis.
“You have to have the mindset. The mindset is.. if something does go down, what are my choices? If I can run, awesome. But if I can’t run, I have one of two options. Hope to God that nothing happens or actually do something about it. You might as well do something about it.”
Check out the clip below to see what Aaron Jannetti is doing to prepare the general public for “doing something” in active shooter situations.
