Here at BSR, we do a lot of driving. So, it would make perfect sense for us to have almost 100 primary training vehicles in our fleet. Read on to learn a little bit more about the vehicles we use most frequently.
The Standard Training Sedan
From 1997 and into the early 2010s, the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor was the most widely used automobile in law enforcement operations in the United States and Canada.
BSR uses the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (police-package) as a standard training sedan. We currently have 45 Crown Victoria’s in the fleet. They are all automatic and equipped with a switch to disengage the ABS braking circuit for an increased training value.
We currently have 20 Jeep Cherokee’s in our fleet of off-road training vehicles. With a few guidelines and some good old-fashioned common sense, almost anyone can drive off-road in a Jeep Cherokee. And, they’re considered the most off-road capable vehicle in their class.
Other Training Scenarios
BSR always has a fleet of 25-30 disposable vehicles that can be used for a variety of training scenarios.
