Here at BSR, the Wild and Wonderful state will always be one of our favorite places to off-road. There are tons of available trails in Pennsylvania, Maryland ,Virginia and of course West Virginia–and they’re all within a reasonable drive for a good days fun.
West Virginia trails vary from gravel, rock, and sand to hard packed clay. Most of the mountains are covered with vegetation, oaks, hickories, beech, and other undergrowth and the trails are frequently shaded under a 30-foot-high canopy of leaves which can be great for the hot summer months.
Looking to increase your off-roading skills and learn from a trained professional in a safe environment? Our Unimproved/Off-Road Driving Course is designed to improve the off-road driving skills at any experience level with our 15-acre obstacle course booby-trapped with sand pits, rock climbs, mudholes, stumps and logs.
If buying a cherry red Miata doesn’t do it for your midlife crisis, you can come here to learn how to drag a Jeep Cherokee over a boulder, control a skid at 100 mph or execute a tire-squealing 180 mph in a state patrol-style sedan. Throw in the on-site tactical firearm training range (restricted to real police) for a soundtrack, and you’ve got the ultimate male (or female) playground.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
